Ohio Gov. John Kasich

John Kasich

Ok, I will admit it  John Kasich caught me off guard!I Had written him off long ago and ask why he was still in the race? Then he ups his game and grabs second place in the New Hampshire Primary; my hat off to you good sir!

How I had seen the race was Trump, Cruz, Rubio and maybe Chris Christie.I would have never guessed it would be John Kasich right behind Trump and Rubio coming in behind Bush total mind blown, Now some are saying that John Kasich has no place to go for real? people! I had totally written the man off. This election cycle is not like any I have ever seen, and I think it will continue to surprise us it is one of the reasons I have not hooked myself to anyone candidate it is way to wild this time around, and it’s happening in both party who would have  guessed a no-name Senator could beat Hilary by 21% points  in the    New Hampshire Primary, not I.going to be a good long fight lot of fun.

Debate blood bath

Last night debate was  a little bit of a blood bath for both Cruz and Rubio without Trump there in person taking the heat.Cruz found out its not a walk in the park being the main focus, I think it took him by surprise how harsh it is to have the center podium, Rubio never back off of Cruz hitting at him every chance an opening came up.Cruz for his part gave as good as he got back at Rubio it was a fun thing to watch. The rest of the crowd was not bashful about hitting at Cruz and Rubio as well, and I believe the biggest loser of the night was Paul once more he being himself second was Bush, in my opinion, he had one maybe two moments but over all very lackluster; followed by Carson. I like Carson don’t get me wrong I also believe he may be the smartest man in the room, but his problem is that he is too nice. The rest of the field were there but for me had little if no impact neither lost ground or gained any.

The overall winner of this debate was Trump! why? well, I blame it mostly on Fox News themselves, Megan Kelly first shot out of the barrel had to bring him up(not good) then the man (Cruz)holding the center spot seemed not to be able to control himself and brought the 900-pound elephant which is Trump back into the room several times.I kept asking myself why not talk about the issues this is the one time you have an open field to tell us who you are but you blew it, too bad it was a chance that may not show itself again.

Overall I enjoyed the debate it was a good waste of two hours.

E-mails will it kill

Hillary-Clinton-

The latest news on Hilary’s emails, while she was still head of the state department, are a little too much to overlook you would think”for your eyes only” or  Sap (“special access programs”)is the most secret level you can get.For example, Snowden, who ran off to Russia to avoid jail time, was never even close to this level, and yet he is still wanted, and Hilary is still running for president.

Can you imagine the phone calls the flavors offered and possibly other things that are provided by the Hilary camp to make this go away it boggles the mind? Will Hilary do like Bill and slime her way out of this?I’m betting Hilary and her camp will give it one hell of a shot.

If old  Bernie Sanders wants  to take out Hilary for real this is his chance; Hilary is served up and ready to fall just a small nudge, as of right now he is within a few points of overtaking her with a good ad or TV show spot he could surge so far ahead of Hilary he never have to look back.

The sad truth of it is that Hilary will walk away from this as if it never happened.

Yet another solar panel factory failure

Solar-Panel-

Yet another solar panel factory failure. It seems that SoloPower is slowly circling the drain and on its way out they can call it “restructures operations” all they want but when their top Chief Technology Officer Mustafa Pinarbasi hitting the road and accepting a similar role at another California startup it’s not a good sign. Then we have Craig Cornelius, a managing director for SoloPower’s key private investor, New Jersey-based Hudson Clean Energy Partners, also resigned recently it looks to me like all the fat rats or getting out-of-town.

The sad part of this is The company, which state business recruiters won over in 2011, already has received a $10 million state energy loan backed in part by Portland funding and a $20 million manufacturing Business Energy Tax Credit that will pay $13.5 million in cash. The company is ultimately in line to benefit from nearly $58 million in state and local incentives, including tax breaks, a tax credit and loans will this pull it back , I don’t think so if its past is any kind of sign, The first line of product was supposed to slated for completion in April 2012. But missed goals forced executives to renegotiate a $197 million federal loan guarantee in January, The Oregonian reported earlier this month so I think this company will fail I could be wrong we will see.

Tax’s and marijuana

Marijuana

You Knew it was going to happen! anytime there is money to be made the government will find a way to get its pound of flesh. It seem’s that the 18 state that have legalized marijuana has also invited the taxman in as well. The IRS is using an old law that lets the government tax medical marijuana center’s as much as 75%

The levy is the result of a 1982 provision to the tax code, known as 280E, that stemmed from a successful attempt by a convicted drug trafficker to claim his yacht, weapons and bribes as businesses expenses.

Medical marijuana center’s can not claim typical things like rent or payroll as a business expense and this in its self will put a lot of little shops out of business.

much Medical marijuana center’s believe If you have a license from the state hanging on your wall, that doesn’t fit the definition of trafficking, but they need to think about this it may be legal in your state but the Federal law still says it trafficking and not legal So pay up suckers you may have won the battle, but the war ain’t over yet .

Presidents’ Day

bush

Presidents’ Day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government. Traditionally celebrated on February 22—Washington’s actual day of birth—the holiday became popularly known as Presidents’ Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers. While several states still have individual holidays honoring the birthdays of Washington, Abraham Lincoln and other figures, Presidents’ Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents past and present.

If I were U.S Government Employee I Might Worry

If I were a U.S government employee I might worry just a little bit, I’m not talking about the big wigs in Washington D.C who have more money than they know what do with I’m talking about the rank and file workers the ones who do the grunt work.Did you all know that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has begun borrowing from the federal employee pension fund? Geithner is using it to keep the government going without passing the debt limit. Now Mr.Geithner says he will repay it when the debt limit is raised.Mr.Geithner state that other treasury secretary’s have done this which is true, But what Mr.Geithner left out that this is the second time in two years that this has been done.now here’s the twist back in Sept. 2012 the U.S Post Office U.S. Postal Service had warned that it could default if it is not given relief from its funding obligation to federal employee pension fund and we see where the post office is today. FERS is also suffering from rising costs, which are becoming burdensome. So in my opinion this is a fools game Mr.Geithner is playing with other people’s money and we all know it much easier to spend someone’s else’s money> So yeah I might be a little worried if I worked for the governmenttimothy geithner
