If you’re under 50

I would like to say this is not mine but a re-post of Kent Larsen on Facebook, but I find it informative.

If you’re under 50, you need to read this. If you’re over 50, you lived through it, so share it with those under 50. Amazing to me how much I had forgotten!

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her choice as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger votes will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six-month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any offense in less than two hours.

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House.

Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the #$%$ eruption” and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:

She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation, they settled with Ms. Jones.

She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor.

After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for ‘lying under oath’ to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.

What a swell party – ready for another four or eight years of this type of low-life mess?

Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation – we have no idea what shoe will fall next.

But to her loyal fans (supporters) – I guess in her words “what difference does it make?”

E-mails will it kill

The latest news on Hilary’s emails, while she was still head of the state department, are a little too much to overlook you would think”for your eyes only” or  Sap (“special access programs”)is the most secret level you can get.For example, Snowden, who ran off to Russia to avoid jail time, was never even close to this level, and yet he is still wanted, and Hilary is still running for president.

Can you imagine the phone calls the flavors offered and possibly other things that are provided by the Hilary camp to make this go away it boggles the mind? Will Hilary do like Bill and slime her way out of this?I’m betting Hilary and her camp will give it one hell of a shot.

If old  Bernie Sanders wants  to take out Hilary for real this is his chance; Hilary is served up and ready to fall just a small nudge, as of right now he is within a few points of overtaking her with a good ad or TV show spot he could surge so far ahead of Hilary he never have to look back.

The sad truth of it is that Hilary will walk away from this as if it never happened.

Senator Bernie Sanders

Is the only one so far to have the balls to come out and challenge Hillary! Not that I think he has a chance in hell of beating her.The one thing I do like about him is unlike most Democrat’s He admits that he is a Socialist, which is refreshing. We know where he stands.

Unbelievable is all I can say! House Democrats on Tuesday elected Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her top four lieutenants to stay atop the party in the 114th Congress. Can you believe that! Why! Ms.Pelosi has been the House Democrats leader with the worsted record of any leader in the last three straight election cycles and out of three election cycles the Democrats have had their butt handed to them times two.I would love the know the secrets this woman has on her fellow House Democrats.

On a good note with Pelosi at the helm of the House Democrats, we can look forward to the control of the house for another election cycle and possibly more. So I guess I should be supporting their move to keep her as their leader lol.

Are Polls a thing of the past?

Are polls and poll takers a thing of the past? For the last three elections, it seems to be leaning to that outcome. Pollsters have not gotten facts right. The Republicans, Democrats and Independent poll groups appear to be lost in the fog for the last few years why is that.In my opinion, it all adds up to about five things.

1.   Pollsters hear what they want to hear, a sampling of a 100 or 200 people is not giving an accurate picture.

2. What is thought as  Republicans or Democrats voter groups are not the best case examples? ” Black don’t always vote Democrat” so looking at an area that is mostly one race or another is not going to tell you much like it did 10 or 15 years ago.I think a lot of Pollsters are still stuck on this.

3. Social media, Facebook, Twitter and a few other if you make yourself known as a Republican or Democrat you are going to catch flax. Many folks just don’t want to put up with that kind of crap in their life

4. This one might sound silly to some, but voting at the home or in your polling place to most is a private thing. .at home you can go off in a room by oneself and vote and in a polling place once you step into the booth you can vote how you feel and not tell anyone.

5. I for one find it obscene to be stopped outside my polling place or getting a phone call asking who I voted for and to tell the truth most times if ask I lie.

Oregon to abandon its failed ObamaCare exchange

Oregon to abandon its failed ObamaCare exchange after months of trying to get a website up going spending $400 million taxpayer dollars, Oregon will be joining the

My questions are these.

Will the so-called website builder Oracle.return the $4 to 6 million it reportedly spend to build a non-working site, will criminal investigation happen?

Will both Gov. John Kitzhaber (D-Ore.) and Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) do the right thing and not run for office both are up for both up for reelection.

Congress, requests from Democrats and Republicans have triggered a federal investigation of the broken system. One would hope, will it led to anything I don’t think so! I think it’s just a dog and pony show for the public.

Last of all do you know that $400 million is just short of a 1/4 of a billion dollars let that run around you mind for a few, 1DollarBillPlain
